Kubo Tech AG located in Effretikon, Zurich, was founded in 1980. With the take over of the activities of Garlock Switzerland, the company was provided from the start with an own punching factory. 1986 Kubo Tech opened a subsidiary in Austria (Kubo Tech Gesellschaft m.b.H., AT-Steyregg). And another three years later, Gummi Huber AG was integrated in the Group (at first as Kubo Form AG and 2019 fully). Another milestone in the history of the group was the removal into the new building in Effretikon. 2005 the Kubo Group was acquired by three external entrepreneurs in the course of the succession settlement and in 2015 it has been acquired by Diploma PLC. As of October 1, 2024, Kubo Tech AG and Kubo Tech GesmbH have become part of the Polygena Group.
