back to overviewAfter more than 25 years at Kubo Tech Ges.m.b.H. Linz, the Managing Director, Hermann Kirchberger, now enters his well-deserved retirement. During 24 years Hermann Kirchberger has lead the Austrian affiliate of the Kubo Group to success.
We thank Hermann Kirchberger for his long-term commitment and wish him all the best for this new phase in his life.
Dirk Steiner will take over his role als Managing Director. Gerald Weixelbaumer will be his deputy.
Dirk Steiner has joined Kubo Tech Ges.m.b.H. in 2014 and now takes over the management of the company as Managing Director. After his apprenticeship as a heating and ventilation fitter and a vocational baccalaureate diploma in mechanical engineering he obtained a polytechnic degree as certified engineer (HVAC). Before joining Kubo Tech he has been managing larger projects in the power plant sector for many years and was responsible for customer service and planning.
Gerald Weixelbaumer joined Kubo Tech Ges.m.b.H. in 2010. He is a trained design engineer with longstanding experience. In 2013 Gerald Weixelbaumer completed a vocational training at the University of Applied Sciences in Linz (HTL) in industrial engineering. In the executive board, Gerald Weixelbaumer is responsible for Operations, which includes the Technology, Production and Logistics Departments.
On April 1st, 2016 Kevin Schudel joins the sales force of Kubo Tech AG. As per June 1st, 2016 he will replace Herbert Bieri as a Technical Consultant for Eastern Switzerland. On that date, Herbert Bieri will enter retirement after 47 years of employment with Kubo Tech AG, whereof 14 years as Technical Consultant. Until June, Kevin Schudel is going to be introduced in his new task and his customer base by Herbert Bieri.
Kevin Schudel joined Kubo Form AG in 2007 after his apprenticeship as polymechanic. Since then, he has been working as toolmaker. In this function, he was responsible for the design, the calculation and the manufacturing of injection and pressing moulds for elastomer parts. His expertise in customer consulting with regard to feasibility assessments and form separations of elastomer parts, as well as his knowledge of elastomer technology will be of great benefit to him in his new function.
We are particularly pleased and proud that we were able to appoint all the successors from among our own ranks. Thus, we were able to offer them a career opportunity and at the same time keep in-house our know-how, which is our key asset. We can therefore assure you that we will continue to serve you at best.
We wish Dirk Steiner, Gerald Weixelbaumer and Kevin Schudel much satisfaction and success in their new roles.
